Un peu de pédagogie illustrée avec Tony Moss. Vous comprendrez les relations entre les cadrans les plus communs.

On peut trouver de bas en haut :
- un cadran horizontal
- un cadran polaire
- un cadran équatorial (bleu et jaune)
- un cadran vertical méridional (c'est à dire plein sud)
- un cadran vertical plein nord, voir ci-dessous

Ils utilisent tous le même style rouge.

Ce cadran a été conçu et réalisé par Tony Moss à des fins pédagogiques. Il permet de bien montrer la relation entre ces différents cadrans.

You can find from bottom to top:
- an horizontal dial
- a polar dial
- an equatorial dial (blue and yellow)
- a vertical meridional dial (facing south)
- a vertical facing north, see below

All of them are using the same red style.

This sundial has been designed by Tony Moss in order to explain the relationship between these dials.

Ce cadran multiple comporte 2 cadrans verticaux (orientés l'un au sud et l'autre au nord), un horizontal, un polaire et un équatorial (appelé aussi équinoxial)
This multidial includes 2 vertical (one facing south and one facing north), an horizontal, a polar and an equatorial dials.

	Face au sud (photo de gauche), orientation la plus commune : il indique 3h ici. Face nord !!! (image de droite), beaucoup plus rare, mais comme vous pouvez le voir, le soleil éclaire le cadran avant 6h le matin et après 6h le soir. Evidemment au printemps ou en été. En haut la nouvelle photo prise tôt le matin, La précédente en bas était une tricherie Facing south (left image), common orientation : it shows 3 P.M. here Facing north !!! (right image), not so usual, but as you can see, the sun lightens the dial before 6 A.M. and after 6 P.M. Of course in spring or summer. On top, a new photo from Tony Moss, early in the morning, the previous one below was a fake !
